Avatar Favourite For Oscars Best Picture

With last Sunday’s Grammy Awards out of the way, America is now getting ready to walk the red carpet again for the 82nd Oscar awards on the 7th March. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences recognises stars, directors and everyone that has had a hand in the production of the films that hit the big screen during the past year.
The Oscars, is one of the oldest running award shows and is one of the most sought after awards a performer aims to collect during their career. This prestigious awards ceremony will take place at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin will be hosting this year’s Oscars ceremony. These two award winning actors will be sure to deliver a fantastic performance of their own and will make watching the awards show that bit more entertaining.
From drama, to musicals and comedy, every film nominated delivered a story in a way that can only be described as true excellence in the world of film. The actors, directors, writers, and all the people behind the scenes, are all responsible for the joy viewers get each time they go to the cinema. The viewing public can only hope that 2010 will bring the same quality and excitement in the movie industry as it did 2009.
There are so many awards up for grabs with a number of different categories, but the buzz is always about which nominees will take home the Oscar for best picture.
